Design Review Committee

Our Covenants require that a Design Review Committee be created to approve applications for architectural projects within the Fox Meadow development. Control of new home construction is in the hands of the Fox Meadow Declarant. All remodeling and landscaping issues are controlled by the DRC Committee created by the Master Board.

The DRC is governed by the Design Review Committee Policies and Guidelines document of the covenants. The DRC has the authority to approve or disapprove of any plan submitted. Should a plan be disapproved by the DRC, the applicant can appeal to the Master Board.

If you live in a area of the development with a Sub-Association, your Covenants may require more stringent requirements. Please become familiar with them.

Exterior Changes and Landscaping

Minimum Landscaping Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements for landscaping a New home:

  • Sprinkler system in front yard of house.
  • Lamp post (or exterior lights on the exterior of home) that are on from dusk to dawn.
  • Mailbox that meets Fox Meadow specifications.
  • Seven (7) deciduous, ornamental or evergreen trees and foundation shrubbery.

The minimum number of shrubs shall be:

  • 40 one gallon or greater
  • 25 two gallon or greater
  • 25 three gallon or greater

Submit your landscape drawing using the Exterior Changes and Landscaping form.

Download a copy of the Remodeling Application and deliver it fully completed to the DRC Fox Meadow HOA, PO Box 1677, Medina, Ohio, 44258. The DRC meets once a month to review applications.
